Native Instruments The Grandeur for Kontakt — The Ultimate Concert Grand Piano (Free)

In music production and live worship, there’s one sound that’s absolutely essential: a top-quality acoustic concert grand piano. Of all the virtual pianos on the market, there’s one that stands out for its versatility, dynamic range, and crystal-clear tone. We’re talking about The Grandeur de Native Instruments.

Sampled directly from a Steinway Model D Concert Grand (the world's most highly regarded concert grand piano), this library captures every nuance with astonishing realism, from the softest, quietest notes to the most powerful and expressive chords.

We're sharing it today completely free with our community. The bookstore weighs 5 GB and is divided into 3 parts to make it easier to download.

What makes The Grandeur special?

Developed in collaboration with Galaxy Instruments, The Grandeur features an intuitive yet highly sophisticated graphical interface that lets you modify the piano's physics:

🎨 1. Tone Section

• Color (Soft - Hard): Adjusts the piano's tone. Set it toward "Soft" for a silky, intimate tone (ideal for slow worship songs and ballads), or set it toward "Hard" for a bright, punchy sound (perfect for pop and rock).
• Lid (Tapa): It simulates opening or closing the lid of a real grand piano, adjusting the airflow and resonance.

🎻 2. Piano Anatomy (Anatomy)

• Dynamic Range: Adjusts the volume difference between the softest and loudest beats.
• Resonances: It controls the resonance level of the sympathetic strings and the physical noise of the sustain pedal as it is pressed down and released. This gives it a unique, organic realism.

🌌 3. Space and Reverb (Space)

A built-in premium reverb engine that lets you place the piano in different real-world acoustic environments:

• Amount: Reverb level.
• To you: Physical size of the simulated room.
• Distance: How far away from the piano is the microphone inside the room?
• Room Profiles: It allows you to select specific rooms using visual presets (such as Piano Hall).
